Upcoming Features
Here are some of the things we are working on to make Kiko an even better online calendar solution.
- Export your calendar to iCal
- Adding support for n-weekly recurrence of an appointment (biweekly, every 3 weeks, etc).
- Synchronization service, that implements SyncML, so you can keep your Kiko calendar in sync with Outlook, iPod, PDA, mobile phones, and any SyncML device.
- A TO-DO list
- Safari support
- Printing month, week, and day views via PDF.
- Improved sharing features: permissions by label and contact group, viewing multiple calendars at once, calendar subscriptions.
Your feedback is important so please submit your feature requests.
Help Questions
If you have a question that is not answered here go ahead and submit your help requests.
- How can I enjoy Kiko on MacOS?
Read Ryan's blog post about Kiko on MacOS.
- How can I import my calendar from Outlook, Yahoo!, etc?
Read Emmett's blog post on importing Outlook and Yahoo! Calendar.
- How can I import my contacts from ______?
Read Ryan's blog post on importing contacts.
- Where are the RSS feeds?
You can find the link to the upcoming feed in the upper right corner of the upcoming calendar view. The feed of recently modified appointments
is available via your browser's feed auto-discovery functionality (as is the upcoming feed). There are two versions of each feed, one that has only your public events that anyone can subscribe too and a private one that has all your appointments. Make sure you get the feek link when you are logged in to get the one with all of your appointments.
- How do I delete a contact?
Click on the profile link on the contact, its the little white icon on the right. When the contact tab loads up click on *Delete* at the top.
- I cannot see my appointments before 9 am.
If you look on the left side of the week view where the times are you'll see a button that with an up and down arrow. That toggles the display of morning appointments. We defaulted it to not show mornings so that you could see more of the typical business day with less scrolling.
- I'd like my appointment to recur daily, there doesn't appear to be any way to do that.
Select "recur weekly" and check all days (this also allows you to set appointments for all business days, etc.
- I'd like to remove my account, how do I do that?
We're working on this. In the meantime, just set your calendar to private and remove your contact methods; this stop any action surrounding your account from occurring.
Current Issues
These are some of the vexing problems we are currently working hard to fix.
- Recurrence not respecting end date, recurring infinently.
If you know of another current issue we may have missed please let us know via our feedback form.
